Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun is the second game in Westwood Studios’ original Command and Conquer series of real-time strategy (RTS) games. Published by Electronic Arts, who became Westwood’s publisher in 1998, Tiberian Sun was released on August 27, 1999, for Microsoft Windows. The events of Tiberian Sun take place in the year 2030, following the events of the Second Tiberium War and those immediately prior. Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun: Firestorm was released in 2000 as an expansion.
